Global nutrition leader and category creator XanGo, LLC announced on Oct. 3 that in addition to his current role as CEO, Aaron Garrity has been appointed chairman of the board, a step toward fulfilling the company’s long-term, aggressive global growth strategy. Former Board Chairman Gary Hollister has been named chairman emeritus and will continue to travel extensively around the world to support XanGo’s top distributor leaders and help propel the company’s international expansion.

“The vision of XanGo remains the same as that established by Gary and my fellow company founders six years ago: to continually expand our influence and make a difference by promoting health and prosperity throughout the world,” said Garrity following his appointment. “With this appointment, we will accelerate our distributors’ success and open new avenues of opportunity for them to pursue.”
A winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Utah Business Magazine’s 2008 CEO of the Year, Garrity’s focus and vision have been instrumental in establishing XanGo’s billion-dollar brand around the world. This March, XanGo opened its 23rd international market for business in Taiwan, and it currently operates on four continents. Under his direction, the company has also expanded its 30-acre corporate campus in Lehi, Utah and opened several international offices.
